Snoqualmie Pass Fire & Rescue Welcomes You!

Snoqualmie Pass Fire & Rescue serves the Snoqualmie Pass Community and is managed by a three person Board of Commissioners elected by the registered voters of Snoqualmie Pass. This Board is currently chaired by Chris Caviezel (2015). The two other Commissioners are William J. Powers, Jr. "Billy" (2011) and Pat Ellis (2013). Our Fire Chief is Matt Cowan.

We wish to THANK OUR COMMUNITY MEMBERS, who have approved our last two voter measures by nearly SEVENTY PERCENT!!!!!!!

Snoqualmie Pass Fire & Rescue has the second LOWEST tax rate of any Fire District in King County. We are an incredible value in Kittitas County as well.

Snoqualmie Pass Fire & Rescue has the BEST insurance rating of any volunteer fire department in King or Kittitas County. We are currently rated a "7". This has resulted in significant insurance ratings for Snoqualmie Pass residents.

Snoqualmie Pass Fire & Rescue adheres to King County Emergency Medical Services (EMS) protocols. This gives us additional funding as well as excellent mutual aid, and Advance Life Support services.

Snoqualmie Pass Fire & Rescue adheres to National Fire Protection Association Standards, as our budget allows and is practical for our community. Snoqualmie Pass Fire & Rescue adheres to all applicable Revised Codes of Washington (R.C.W.'s).

Snoqualmie Pass Fire & Rescue is excited to have the support of the Snoqualmie Pass Woman's group, as well as the Volunteer Firefighter Association. We value our relationship with the Snoqualmie Pass Utility District.

Snoqualmie Pass Fire & Rescue is proud of its established relationships with Eastside Fire & Rescue, King County Medic 1, Lake Kachess Fire Department, Easton Fire & Rescue, and Upper Kittitas County Medic 1. We enjoy positive
relationships with the Summit-at-Snoqualmie ski area, local ski patrols, King County Search and Rescue, Kittitas County Commissioners, Kittitas County Assessor, Kittitas County Treasurer, and the Kittitas County Auditor.
