Burn Ban Status
Effective August 29, 2008, 12:00 p.m. there is no burn ban within Snoqualmie Pass Fire District #51. Burning Permits are required for land clearing burns. For additional information please see our Burning Policies.
The lack of a burn ban is not intended to supersede any burn bans placed
by the county, state or the Puget Sound Clean Air Agency (1-800-595-4341).
Often times the Puget Sound Clean Air Agency will place burn bans during
the winter because of air pollution concerns related to stagnant weather
conditions which will include indoor burning, unless it is your sole
source of heat.
